A few weeks back, Julie received a phone call from St. Jude. The call was about a study that David had participated in and they wanted to share some of the results with us. The study has been underway since 2010 and continues today. The Pediatric Cancer Genome Project created the Cancer Predisposition Program which helps to evaluate and care for children who are at increased genetic risk for cancer. David’s DNA was tested. We thought long and hard about what we wanted to know from the outcome of this study…did we want to know if David’s DNA was defective?
